1. لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ

   For the accustomed security of the Quraysh -

   106:1

2. إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ

   Their accustomed security (in) the caravan of winter and summer -

   106:2

3. فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ

   Let them worship the Lord of this House,

   106:3

4. الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ

   Who has fed them, (saving them) from hunger and made them safe, (saving them) from fear.

   106:4

5. أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ

   Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?

   107:1

6. فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ

   For that is the one who drives away the orphan

   107:2

7. وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ

   And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

   107:3

8. فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ

   So woe to those who pray

   107:4

9. الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ

   (But) who are heedless of their prayer -

   107:5

10. الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ

    Those who make show (of their deeds)

    107:6

11. وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ

    And withhold (simple) assistance.

    107:7

12. إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ

    Indeed, We have granted you, (O Muhammad), al-Kawthar.

    108:1

13. فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ

    So pray to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him alone).

    108:2

14. إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ

    Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.

    108:3
